EEEEEKKKKK!!!!!

There is wildlife in my home.

There is a gecko and I don't know where it went. Last I saw it, it was wiggle running across my kitchen floor.

My husband WON'T get it out.

So I told him I'm never cooking again.

Maybe I won't sleep again. (IT'S IN MY HOUSE!!!!!!)
The End.

Product review:

Have you ever looked into my shower? Well, you don't have to! Never fear! Here is a picture of my shower caddie.
Filled with all kinds of delights. some with chemicals, some without.
INVENTORY:
1-Pantene Pro-V- (my husband bought this I don't use it)
2-Suave Professionals shampoo
1-Suave Clarifying shampoo
2- Dove intensive treatment conditioner samples
1- Root 66 organic conditioner treatment sample
1-homemade shampoo, conditioner and body wash set made by my husband's cousin
4 different body scrubbers -gloves, cloth, and poofs
1 shaver
1-drain plug
1-nail brush

This is a picture of my all time favorite chemical laden shampoo. It really is the absolute best stuff out there. (REALLY! I've bought all kinds!) My hair is so beautiful and clean and soft, and it doesn't coat it with crap and dry it out, and it still feels springy when you pull on it- unlike Pantene Pro-V which makes your hair so caked with crap it is dry and breaks off when you tug on a strand. This stuff is so wonderfully moisturizing and smells so wonderful, that you don't even need the conditioner! The shampoo does all the work and moisturizes your scalp (NO ITCHING!) and your hair brushes out right through with no tangles every time! and you can use it day after day for weeks without a buildup!
NEW! Suave Professionals- Almond and Shea butter shampoo.

The only stuff I own that is not chemical laden is:
This is what my mom gave me for my birthday. I don't use it that often cause I'm a lazy shower-er and I don't like to have to massage this stuff over and over into my hair to get it all over or it doesn't clean and then cause I'm so used to just shampooing, soaping up, rinsing and getting out, I always forget to condition-notice there's more conditioner? and I get so mad at myself cause I then end up ripping out my hair 5 thousand times over cause it won't brush through. Now I use it when I have time to take my time bathing. Like a Chinese bath. Other wise, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the body wash! And the Shampoo and Conditioner are WONDERFUL when you use them TOGETHER! I'm just not that coordinated to do that.

So anyways that is my product review.
2 products I love

Hope you enjoyed it!

Chinese Bath

The other day I took a chinese bath.

In a chinese bath you:

  1. Take a bucket of water, soap, and a washcloth/sponge/etc... to clean yourself.
  2. Wash your body.
  3. Rinse.
  4. Sit in a tub of hot fresh water with a washcloth.
I havn't figured out what you do with the washcloth, but I just soaked it and put it over my face to steam, and then scrubbed it a bit after I figured the pores were opened. Anyone with another idea??
maybe to wipe sweat if the water's a bit too hot? Anyways...

It is so relaxing!
It takes longer than a shower, so you are forced to sit a while and relax.
That's probably why I like the bucket mode of bathing! It's not the first time I've bucket bathed. It's the first time I've taken a soak after- hence the name chinese bath.

Try it and tell me your story. Did you:
  1. Like it?
  2. Not like it?
  3. Get soap in your eyes?
  4. Gave up and took a shower?
I'm curious to know if I'm the only wierdo in the USA who's not of Chinese or Asian decent who took a chinese bath here in the USA.

AND LIKED IT!

Tater Tots

Tater Tots
microwave until soft the amount of potatoes you wish to use.
  • I used 2 medium sized potatoes.
let cool partially or fully. I didn't have patience. I peeled while throwing them from hand to hand.
then let cool. mostly.
Grate or mash partially.
sprinkle in:
  • Paprika
  • onion powder
  • cayenne pepper
  • black pepper
  • lawry's seasoned salt (remember, potatoes neutralize salt)
  • garlic powder
mix carefully do not mash all up, or you will have mush!!! Try to toss them gently with spoon.
shape into desired shapes.
refrigerate 1/2 hour.
  • roll in a mixture of flour, paprika, and salt.
  • fry in hot oil.
(hot or the tater tots fall apart in a thousand pieces. (just ask me -I know- It's not fun trying to sieve it all out)
when they are golden brown, take out and drain. wait to cool a bit if you can. or just partially burn your mouth while you make faces trying to eat a hot one fresh from the oil!

You may have to make lots. The neighbors might show up if they smell them cooking!

They are so delicious!!!

Bathroom drawer organizers

I spent some time today learning a new skill- the skillsaw! I cut out little jigsaw puzzle pieces and put them together creating dividers for my drawers! I feel so organized now, I'm jealous of myself!

My husband says I stuff too much in them, but hmph! I don't care! at least I can find what I'm looking for easily now!
where'd that foot come from?
I even organized the medicine cabinet!

I am so proud of myself, I amaze myself! I must admit I had a little help from my husband cutting part of it, after the saw kicked back at me, but I did 75 percent of it. I measured, marked, cut, shaved the edges where it didn't fit, and put it all together. It isn't perfectly square, but I love it anyways.
